Discussions about sexuality and politics during a weekend away in Bath prove to Nick and Ella that despite their six years together, they don’t have it all figured out.

I wrote, directed, and edited this short film made using entirely improvised dialogue. The actors worked from scripts that included scene headers and only their own character’s thoughts and feelings, and they improvised their dialogue on camera.

The screening took place online with films running Oct. 5-10th, 2020. Bath screened Wednesday, Oct. 7th at 7:00pm EST.

Bath screened in the February lineup at IndieWorks and it won the Silver Whiskers, their critics’ choice award!

It was invited back to screen at the end-of-year round up (online) April 21-25th, 2020. Even better, we were nominated for Best Directing and Best Ensemble… and happily we won Best Ensemble Performance for Joe and Georgia’s work!

In its 7th year, YoFiFest offered talkbacks, workshops, parties and screenings to film fans in Yonkers and beyond. It was voted one of the “Top 100 Film Festivals” by FilmFreeway nine times.

Bath screened during the Queer Screen shorts block.

Georgia’s film highlights include Over My Dead Body! (a screwball comedy set in the 1940s), award-winning short Me & You (which became a Vimeo Staff Pick and Short of the Week, and has garnered over 17 million views on YouTube) and a featured role in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Theatre includes The Best Man (Playhouse Theatre), The Cement Garden (Vault Festival), The Acid Test (Pleasance Theatre), The Shawshank Redemption, Ghostbusters and Miller's Crossing for Secret Cinema, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Courtyard Theatre) and Twelfth Night (Greenwich Theatre).

Joseph Cullen

Joseph Cullen is an actor, writer, comedian and theatre maker from Somerset. His company Out Of The Forest Theatre recently Won Best Ensemble at the 2018 Off West End Awards for their production of "Bury The Hatchet". His first one man comedy show "You Having Olaf?" Won Best Newcomer at VAULT Festival 2017.

Composer, Sound Designer

Sean Simpson is a composer and sound engineer currently working out of his South London studio. A multi-instrumentalist and practiced foley artist he works to create a captivating and emotional response with the viewer. He is now working on various projects including shorts films, features and documentaries, as well as fashion and commercial productions.
